Hadj Hadjimar Belino

Hi, I'm an IT administrator in Madrid, and I build software that makes life in Spain easier for newcomers. My first project is ClaraPel.

01 — About

Years of fixing systems.
Now I want to build them.

I started in IT in 2014 as a junior support trainee in the Philippines and grew through technical support, helpdesk, and IT specialist roles at Concentrix and Telestellar.

In 2024 I moved to Spain, where I now manage IT for two teams: Managed Activation Platform (MAP), where I also work as a vPro engineer, and 297STUDIO.

Years of fixing systems taught me how software breaks and how people actually use it. Now I want to build it.

From a junior support trainee to managing IT for two teams in Spain.

02 — Featured project

ClaraPel
Spanish paperwork, one step at a time.

ClaraPel on an iPhone, scrolling from 'Claro que sí. Para ti.' through step-by-step checklists, official sources, the 21 guides, how it works, everything in one place and the guide finder
21 guides

ClaraPel is a free web app, now also an Android app, that walks immigrants through Spanish paperwork one step at a time, in Spanish, English, and Tagalog.

It covers 21 guides, from student, work and digital-nomad visas before you move, to the NIE, TIE, empadronamiento, the health card, exchanging your driving licence, family reunification, arraigo and nationality. Each one is split into short checklist steps showing what to bring and what it costs, with a link to the official source and a "last checked" date on every step. Sources are reviewed every week and guides are checked by hand every month.

Why I built it

"I lived the problem myself. I came to Spain from the Philippines on a family reunification visa and found that clear information about papers was hard to find, even years later."

ClaraPel started with the Filipino community and is growing to help anyone building a life in Spain.

Under the hood

How ClaraPel is built

  1. 01

    Monorepo

A TypeScript monorepo (pnpm) holding the website, the mobile app, and shared packages.

  2. 02

    Web

Next.js 16 and React 19 with Tailwind CSS 4, served in English, Spanish, and Tagalog. It includes the public site, the signed-in app, and an admin area where the team manages the guide list, official sources, news, tips, benefits and emergency numbers.

  3. 03

    Mobile

Expo SDK 57 (React Native) with Expo Router, built in the cloud with Expo EAS and reusing much of the web code. In closed testing on Google Play, and it offers new versions inside the app.

  4. 04

    Shared packages

Zod data contracts both apps validate against, built-in checklists for all 21 guides, benefits and emergency data, translations for all three languages, renewal-deadline calculations, and database types.

  5. 05

    Backend

Supabase Postgres with Row-Level Security, email/password and Google sign-in, and authenticator-app 2FA for the team. If the database can't be reached, the built-in guides and emergency numbers still show.

  6. 06

    Infrastructure

Vercel with automatic deploys on every push, Cloudflare DNS and Turnstile anti-spam, and Resend for email in the EU region.

  7. 07

    Privacy by design

The database and web servers are both in Frankfurt, so personal data stays in the EU. Users can download their data as a PDF or delete their account.

  8. 08

    Quality

Playwright end-to-end tests at phone size with accessibility checks, Vitest unit tests, plus ESLint and Prettier.

03 — Work projects

Tools I built at work.
Real problems, real users.

These are internal tools I built at work. The code and data are private, so the descriptions below leave out client and company details.

03 Internal · Private

Headless telemetry inventory collector

A Windows service-style tool that collects hardware and telemetry data from managed devices through the Intel EMA API and saves it to SQL Server. It runs headless from the command line for scheduled jobs, supports full and incremental scans per tenant, and also has an optional desktop GUI.

I packaged it as a standalone executable, with logging, JSON exports, and documented process flows and database schema.

Built with
  • Python
  • PySide6
  • REST APIs
  • SQL Server (pyodbc)
  • PyInstaller
04 Internal · Private

IT automation scripts

A library of PowerShell scripts that automate Intel EMA and device-management work: endpoint discovery and AMT detection, finding and cleaning up duplicate endpoints, bulk user and tenant management, API client credentials, log and audit exports to CSV, Intune device reports, and pre-deployment reports.

Several have simple GUIs so teammates can run them without the command line.

Built with
  • PowerShell
  • Intel EMA API
  • Microsoft Intune
  • WMI

I'm building and growing ClaraPel while learning development hands-on. I care about clear, honest software that people who need it can actually use.
